HOW DOES DELTA 8 OIL WORK?

Delta 8 THC oil is consumable in a variety of methods. As said before, the most effective method is sublingual. This is when you drop the oil underneath your tongue and hold it there for 30 seconds. This allows the Delta 8 THC to be absorbed through a network of capillaries underneath the tongue. This method has the fastest onset of effects which is usually within 10 minutes.

Because you take a Delta 8 oil orally, the effects last longer in your system versus smoking it. While smoking is the fastest way to experience the effects of Delta 8 THC, it also is the most fleeting. With oil, its euphoric, tranquil effects gradually wash over your body and last a lot longer.

Delta 8 THC interacts with the same receptors as Delta 9 THC, and these receptors are the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors. These receptors are a part of our endocannabinoid system (ECS). This system is made up of billions of tiny receptors located in the cells of the human body. These receptors are responsible for regulating homeostasis (balance) in your body.

Delta 8 THC interacts with both CB1 and CB2 receptors. This interaction supports the ECS, which regulates vital body functions like breathing, heart rate, and digestion. Delta 8 supports your ECS, and a well-functioning ECS is crucial for your overall wellness.

Product FAQs

How much CBD should I take?

Everyone is different, and require different dosages based on their needs. We always recommend starting with the lowest dosage, as you can always increase it. For severe or chronic pain we recommend 60-100mg for the gummies and 3000mg-5000mg for the oils.

For more information, please visit our CBD Dosage Guide.

Are the dosages per pack or gummy?

Our dosages are per gummy, because on average only 5-10% of the CBD oil we take orally is ultimately being absorbed by your body.

What is the expiration date?

The following is the estimated shelf life of all CBD products if you adhere to proper storage methods:

CBD Oil Tinctures/Oils (store in cool & dry place) – 1-2 years
CBD Salves (room temperature) – 1-2 years
CBD Capsules (store in cool & dry place) – 6-12 months
CBD Gummies (must be refrigerated) – 6-12 months

What is Full Spectrum?

Full-Spectrum CBD contains all the vital cannabinoids that are naturally occurring in the cannabis plant. These cannabinoids work synergistically to create the “Entourage Effect”, which helps increase the healing power of the cannabinoids by working together.

Most Full Spectrum extracts contain the following cannabinoids: CBD, CBDV, CBN, THCV and less than 0.3% THC.

What is CBG?

Cannabigerol is a minor cannabinoid found in low concentrations in marijuana plants. It’s made by decarboxylating CBGA, or exposing it to heat or light. Typically, cannabis plants will produce flower with less than 1% CBG, although cultivators are beginning to breed strains with higher percentages of this cannabinoid.

What is CBN?

Cannabinol is a mildly psychoactive cannabinoid that acts as a low affinity partial agonist at both CB1 and CB2 receptors. This activity at CB1 and CB2 receptors constitutes interaction of CBN with the endocannabinoid system.

What are Terpenes?

Terpenes are naturally occurring chemical compounds found in plants and some animals. They're responsible for the aromas, flavors, and even colors associated with various types of vegetation. In terms of cannabis, terpenes are what make certain strains smell or taste different from others.

What are Cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds derived from the cannabis Sativa plant, which are primarily responsible for healing and wellness in living organisms. Cannabinoids bind directly to the endocannabinoid receptors found in humans and mammals which triggers homeostasis within our bodies to address areas of pain and inflammation.

What is the difference between Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum and Pure CBD Isolate?

Full Spectrum CBD
Full-Spectrum extracts means it contains all phytochemicals naturally found in the plant, including CBD, trace cannabinoids like CBDV, THCV, CBN, & CBG, terpenes, and essential oils. Full-spectrum extracts from hemp also come with a negligible THC content — less than 0.3%

Pure CBD Isolate
CBD oil is a mixture of the chemical compound CBD and a high quality carrier oil such as MCT oil or hemp seed oil. CBD (cannabidiol) is one of more than 100 naturally occurring cannabinoids found in hemp and cannabis.

Broad Spectrum CBD
Broad-spectrum CBD contains cannabidiol and all the other compounds within the plant like CBDV, THCV, CBN & CBG, except for THC, which is completely removed after the initial extraction.

What does Bioavailability mean in simple terms?

Bioavailability is a term used to describe the percentage (or the fraction ) of an administered dose of active ingredient that reaches the systemic circulation

What is the Bioavailability of CBD?

Tests have shown that at best 15-20%, but on average only 5-10% of the CBD oil we take orally is ultimately being absorbed. A staggering 80-95% of the CBD oil you consume, your body will never use. The way that our body absorbs fatty compounds like CBD oil, is by encapsulating these compounds with a special molecule.

That is why our dosages are higher vs other vendors.
