Hemp Preparation
After harvesting, hemp material is carefully dried and prepared for extraction. The plant material is then milled into a more uniform consistency before entering the extraction process.
Proper preparation helps create a more consistent starting material for the extraction of cannabinoids and naturally occurring hemp compounds.
Proprietary 3-Stage CO₂ Extraction
Happy Bears oils are created using our proprietary 3-Stage CO₂ extraction process. This extraction method is designed to separate desirable cannabinoid compounds from the hemp material while avoiding the use of harsh extraction solvents.
The resulting extract can retain naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and other hemp compounds depending on the formulation being produced.
Creating Broad Spectrum & Full Spectrum Profiles
Different cannabinoid products require different profiles. Full Spectrum CBD retains a broader range of naturally occurring hemp compounds and may include trace amounts of THC.
For Broad Spectrum CBD , additional refinement is used to create a multi-cannabinoid extract that is typically formulated without detectable THC.
Product Formulation
Once the desired cannabinoid profile has been created, the extract is incorporated into the appropriate product format and strength.
